Barefoot on the Beach
Full of romantic charm, an area on the beach will be dedicated to your wedding and will be decorated with an abundance of lush rose petals beautifully set in the shape of two hearts to symbolize your joyous union. Choose to marry with your own vows or religious ceremony or have a traditional Sri Lankan wedding complete with drummers, dancers and an elephant with vows by a Kapuwa, a ceremonial wedding officiate.
Beach Bliss
Simple, elegant and stunning, this specially designed beach canopy of timber columns will sit on the golden sands of Bentota beach. It will be decorated either with elegant drapes tied with a beautiful floral arrangement or with delicate strings of fragrant tropical flowers and petals. The gentle sounds of the waves of the Indian ocean and the heady fragrance of the tropical flowers will make for an enchanting ambience to say “I do”. Choose your own personalized vows or religious ceremony or have a traditional Sri Lankan wedding complete with drummers, dancers and an elephant with vows by a Kapuwa, a ceremonial wedding officiate.
Mehndi Ceremony
Mehndi forms part of a traditional Hindu wedding and is a ceremonial art form using henna to draw intricate patterns on the brides hands and feet. Should you wish to include this ceremony into your wedding it can be arranged in any location of your choice on the beach.
Registration of Marriage
Your registration, conducted by a Government of Sri Lanka authorized person, will be held in the pool pavilion, decorated with fresh, fragrant tropical flowers and a backdrop of the stunning azure tinged Indian Ocean.
The Cake
The cake cutting ceremony can be held in the decorated Mangala Pavilion or Garden Canopy.
